RETURNS POLICY CONDITIONS At True Modesty we want to ensure you love the items you purchase. If you have changed your mind on a purchase we will refund you provided that:
• You return the item within 7 days of receipt of purchase. • You produce your original online invoice when you return the item. • The item is in original saleable condition. • With all original tags and any sewn labels still attached • In an unworn and unused state • In original packaging • The item/s do not smell of perfume or deodorant. • The items has not been ironed or pressed with a steam iron.
If you are not able to comply with these requirements, True Modesty reserves the right to refuse an exchange or refund on change of mind items.
The following must be considered when wanting to do a return or exchange:
• There will be strictly no returns or exchanges on inner-wear and personal items such as socks, jewelry and swimwear for hygiene reasons. • There will be strictly no returns or exchanges on “made-to-order” or personalized Items. • There will be strictly no returns or exchanges on sale or promotion Items. • Items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty and will not be considered for return or exchange.
Processing of returns can take up to 7 business days from date of return. We appreciate your patience in this regard.
Defective Items At True Modesty, we aim to stock and sell quality items that meet the highest standards. Each item is inspected before being dispatched. We understand that from time to time there may be a need to return an item for various possible reasons. If for any reason you have a challenge with your order, please email us at shop@truemodesty.co.za and we will assist you right away!
We have a 7-day return policy if there is an issue with your item, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
To start a return, you can contact us via email. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return courier costs are to be covered by the customer, if after the items have been evaluated, are deemed to be defective and a refund/credit is approved, the standard rate of shipping used by True Modesty will be added to the amount to compensate for this.
Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct it.
Exceptions / non-returnable items We regret that sale, marked down, and clearance items cannot be returned. Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
